The space I hold

My lens, my pace, and what guides it.

About Me

Therapy, for me, isn’t just a space to talk. It’s a space to slow down, to be met with honesty and care, and to make sense of what you’ve been carrying, especially the parts that have gone unseen or unspoken for too long. I don’t believe in rushing toward solutions or fixing what’s been labeled as broken. I focus on understanding the logic behind your experiences: the patterns, protections, and roles that once made sense but may now feel heavy, outdated, or hard to shift.

My approach is grounded in deep listening, quiet attention, and layered reflection. I bring a steady, thoughtful presence to our work. I am curious about how your past and present speak to each other, how you’ve learned to survive, and what now feels possible or necessary to change. I draw from psychodynamic and developmental ideas, mindfulness, breathwork, and narrative exploration. These aren’t techniques I apply automatically. They are tools we can use together if they feel helpful and relevant to you.

I work closely with people navigating trauma, emotional shutdown or overwhelm, inner criticism, identity shifts, and relational pain. Many of the people I work with have had to over-function, dissociate, adapt, or overthink just to keep moving. Therapy offers a different kind of space, where you don’t have to perform or translate yourself in order to be understood.

I also hold a deep awareness of the systems we live in. Family roles, cultural expectations, intergenerational pressures, and social structures all shape the way we carry distress. Your story does not exist in isolation, and I don’t treat it like it does.

This is not fast work, but it is real work. Some sessions bring clarity. Others bring quiet, resistance, or relief. All of it matters. All of it belongs. We move at a pace that respects what’s ready and what still needs time.

If you’re looking for a space that can hold complexity without pretense, pressure, or performance, I’m here.

You don’t have to untangle it all alone.

Komal's Expertise

Credentials & Values

Psychotherapy Credentials

Komal holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and an MPhil in Clinical and Counselling Practice. With over a decade of experience, she brings a grounded, reflective approach to therapy—drawing on years of clinical work to support individuals through complex emotional landscapes and ongoing personal growth.

Therapeutic Approach

Komal’s approach to therapy is thoughtful, attuned, and deeply personalized. She works collaboratively with each individual to support self-discovery, emotional clarity, and resilience. Her work centers on creating a space where clients can explore their inner world, make sense of recurring patterns, and move toward a more grounded and fulfilling life.

Psychotherapeutic modality

Komal’s work is rooted in a trauma-responsive framework that honors the complexity of each person’s inner world. She draws from psychodynamic and developmental approaches to explore how early experiences shape present-day patterns, while also using narrative and strength-based modalities to support a more integrated sense of self. Her practice is relational at its core, grounded in attuned presence and collaborative meaning-making. With an awareness of social and systemic forces, she holds space for how identity, culture, and intergenerational dynamics intersect with personal distress. These modalities are not applied rigidly, but drawn on as needed—always in response to what the client brings and what the moment calls for.

Trauma-Responsive Care

Komal brings a trauma-responsive lens to her work, integrating mindfulness, somatic practices, and cognitive insight in ways that feel attuned and practical. Her approach draws from established methods, not as rigid protocols, but as adaptable tools—used only when they serve the person in front of her.

Depth & Pattern oriented

Komal’s work is grounded in depth, not in pushing clients to go deeper before they’re ready, but in staying with what unfolds beneath the surface. She pays close attention to the emotional and relational patterns that shape how clients see themselves and move through the world. These patterns often carry a kind of logic, built from lived experience, and are explored with care rather than judgment. Her approach invites reflection on what’s been repeated, what’s felt missing, and how change can emerge without forcing it.

Highly Individualised Care

No two people enter the room in the same way, and Komal’s approach reflects that. Therapy with her is not structured around a fixed method, it’s shaped by the client’s pace, language, and inner world. She listens for what feels unsaid, adapts to what’s most alive in the moment, and works from the inside out. This highly personalised process allows space for each client to access their own way of healing, rather than being asked to fit into someone else’s framework.
